I ended my long break from movies with the film adaptation of George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four (1984). It’s a difficult to watch film but will definitely leave some interesting threads to wander about when it’s over.

I had been longing to watch the South Korean film Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter… and Spring for a while but wasn’t quite sure if the slow paced movie would match my taste. To my surprise, I found it completely different from my pre-notion. Sprint, Summer… is one of the best films I have watched in a while and left a strong impression.
