Systemd Manager: systemd management GUI

Most of the major Linux distros have switched to systemd as the default init system. However, regular users may still not be very comfortable with the command-line utilities to manage systemd, e.g., systemctl. Systemd Manager is a new GTK3 GUI utility to the rescue.

  • enable units (services)
  • start, stop units
  • view and modify unit files
  • check journal logs
  • check boot time using systemd analyze

Installation

To install Systemd Manager on Ubuntu, run:

$ wget https://github.com/mmstick/systemd-manager/releases/download/0.4.5/systemd-manager_0.4.5_amd64.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i systemd-manager_0.4.5_amd64.deb
