Firefox full webpage screenshots

firefoxFirefox is a very powerful browser because of the extent to which it can be hacked. Here’s another example of that power. Users need full webpage screenshots now and then. Many end up installing extensions or even taking multiple shots of the same page. Fortunately, it’s possible to take a screenshot of the full webpage in Firefox irrespective of the page length.

  • Open the webpage in Firefox
  • Press <Shift-F2> to open the Developer Toolbar at the bottom of the¬†window.
  • Type the following in the toolbar and press <Enter>:
    screenshot --fullpage

The screenshot will be saved to your Download directory.

  • You can also add the delay parameter if you need to do something before taking the shot. Use:
    --delay n

where n is the number of seconds to wait.
