Opera has released a stable version for Linux today. While we were seeing some previews of what can be expected in a stable release from the 25.x beta releases, Opera 26 is the real deal.
Opera is one of the most popular browsers available but development for the Linux version was almost at a standstill for sometime. The last stable version was 12 released almost 18 months ago. However, Opera next was being developed for other platforms. Opera Linux users can rejoice now that Opera 26 is here.
Opera is well known for its fast Turbo mode. Recent browsers like Yandex use Opera’s service to deliver the same feature.
